What is mental health:
Mental health is also called mental illness. Mental health is a state of mind in which you realizes own abilities, stresses of life and productivity. Mental health is related to our emotional, psychological and social well-being.So it is depending on our thoughts, feelings and behavior. It also helps how we handle/control mental stress, relates to other things and how to act works. Mental health should be always good because it control our mind activities.
What is importance of mental health:
Mental health is directly related to our mind conscious. When our mind is doing properly work then all activity will be fine. Mental health is just like physical health, it can have ups and downs. It shouldn’t be neglected. Research shows that mental stress makes you more vulnerable to physical illness by impacting your immune system. As we know that without mental health is no health because mental health is very important for human being. When mental health will stable then stress will also be reduces, so brain is properly work.

Depression is a major depressive disorder. It is a common and serious mental illness that negatively affects ,how you feel, the way you think and how you act. Depression cause feeling of sadness and a loss of interest in activities. It can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems and can decrease a person’s ability to function at work and at home.
- Mood related problems-such as anger, aggressiveness, irritability, anxious, restlessness.
- Emotional- such as feeling empty, sad, hopeless.
- Behavior- such as loss of interest, loss of activities, feeling tired, thoughts of suicide, drinking excessively.

Anxiety disordrs form a category of mental health diagnoses that lead to excessive nervousness, fear, apprehension and worry. These disorders alter how a person deals with emotions and behave, also causing physical symptoms. According to American Psychiatric Association, “women are more likely than men to be diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. – Different anxiety disorders: – Panic disorder- experiencing a panic attacks at unexpected times. – Fobia- Excessive fear of a specific object situation or activity. – Social Anxiety disorder- extreme fear of being judged by others in social situations.

It is a serious mental illness in which a persons feels extreme variances in thinking, mood behavior and activities known as mania and depression. Mania– A manic episodes( it may include symptoms such as high energy, reduced need for sleep and loss of touch with reality) is more than just a feeling of elation, high energy or being distracted. During a manic episode, the mania is so intense that it can interfere with your daily activities.

Personality disorders are a group of mental health conditions that are characterized by unhealthy pattern of thinking, feeling and behavior. Personality disorder tend to emerge in the teenage years or early adulthood. These symptoms vary depending on the specific type of personality disorder. Treatment typically includes talk therapy and medication.
Eating disorder is a complex mental health conditions.Eating disorder is a range of psychological conditions that cause unhealthy eating habits to develop.They might start with an obsession with food, body weight or body shape. It can affect anyone but are most, prevalent among young women.
Dementia is a group of conditions characterized by impairement of at least two brain function such as memory loss and judgement. It is not a disease. It may be caused by a variety of illness. ——Symptoms: -personality changes,i.e. anger or depression. -struggling to express emotion or ideas.
Post traumatic stress disorder(PTSD):
It is a mental health disorder that begins after a traumatic event. People with PTSD feel a heightened sense of danger. PTSD can included –A natural disaster like an earthquake or tornado, military combat, physical or sexual assault or abuse and an accident. Symptoms- -Intrusion -Avoidance -Arousal and reactivity -Cognition and mood.
Obsessive compulsive disorder(OCD):
It is a serious mental illness. It is characterized by repetitive, unwanted thoughts(obsession) and irrational, excessive urges to do certain actions. Symptoms: – Obsessions- These are upsetting thoughts or impulses that repeatedly occur. -Compulsions- These are repetitive acts that temporally relieve the stress and anxiety brought on by obsession.
Symptoms or characteristics of Mental Health:
